Senior Director, Marketing – Inhaled Respiratory

As Senior Director, HCP and Consumer Marketing for a first-in-class inhaled product, you’ll play a pivotal role in translating the science and driving innovation to make a positive impact on patients’ lives. This product is a first-in-class asthma rescue treatment that is supported by expert guidelines.

We are looking for an experienced commercial leader to help develop and lead execution of the HCP and Consumer US strategy and to play an integral role in the long-term brand vision.  This is a leadership role with responsibility for cross-functional and senior level stakeholder management.

In this role, you will lead the creation of critical commercial marketing deliverables. To succeed you will need to demonstrate a strong ability to think strategically, communicate effectively, lead others, problem solve, influence, and collaborate in both scientific and commercial contexts.

What You’ll do:

  • Develop US Consumer and HCP strategy, plans, and execution in coordination with the Executive Marketing Director

  • Lead a high performing team of HCP and Consumer Marketers (approx. 6-8 people)

  • Serve as an integral member of the cross-functional leadership team, providing input and direction to overall brand strategy, ensuring strong cohesion across all customer segments, achievement of Key Performance Indicators

  • Develop strong brand advocacy across key opinion leaders

  • Oversee a multi-channel media measurement and analytics plan for on-going channel and creative optimization across HCP and Consumer Marketing

  • Responsible for leading cross functional teams to budget targets

  • Develop strong alliances with Medical, Insight, Analytics, Forecasting, Sales Force, Training, Market Access and Corporate Affairs for cross-functional planning and programs

  • Demonstrate strong people management skills in coaching and development

  • Deliver innovative approaches to marketing including social media strategies and implementation across consumer segments

  • Create clear narratives and present strong business cases to senior leaders

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business focus preferred)

  • Minimum 8 years pharmaceutical commercial experience, including marketing

  • Excellent presentation skills and leadership presence

  • Experience with collaboration, influencing without authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams & collaborators

  • First-line leader experience

  • Demonstrated track record of success in achieving ambitious goals / career progression / awards

  • Requires approximately 10-20 % travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Respiratory Experience

  • Direct to Consumer TV Experience

  • Experience launching a product
