Join us at AstraZeneca as a Field Content Strategy & Omnichannel Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in devising and implementing a comprehensive Omnichannel Experience for US Medical Affairs Oncology. This role is crafted to facilitate detailed and effortless engagement for Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and colleagues across the company's product and scientific ecosystem. You will champion the Medical Omnichannel strategy to distinguish and introduce innovative HCP learning journeys sought to make oncology clinical and scientific data more accessible, coordinated, visible, and exciting.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Medical omnichannel and content strategy that aligns with US OBU’s business objectives and improves HCP engagement across all channels, including both digital channels and US Medical Field teams
  • Apply AZ omnichannel design plan (ODP) template to ensure alignment with global Medical franchise teams and execution through US Field Medical teams
  • Lead omnichannel pod teams (per Medical franchise campaign) that bring together relevant Medical HQ & Field team members, GCO, IT, business excellence, and other members as needed
  • Conduct content audits in collaboration with Medical teams that align content and MSL resources to omnichannel journey and scientific narrative
  • Own Field Nexus platform operations to ensure that MSL content is aligned to omnichannel journey stages
  • Define and measure key performance indicators (critical metrics) for omnichannel campaigns to assess their impact on HCP engagement and business outcomes.
  • Accountable for measuring appropriate omnichannel metrics by collaborating closely with data management and global reporting teams; accountable for final design and data quality of reporting dashboards
  • Serve as an internal subject matter authority on digital marketing and engagement benchmarks; advise Medical teams on how to improve HCP engagement
  • Serve as a standing member on Field Leadership teams to ensure awareness and input of omnichannel campaigns
  • Ensure all content and omnichannel engagement initiatives align with compliance and regulatory standards; collaborate with global and local training leads to ensure Field teams are accurately trained on compliant omnichannel ways of working

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. healthcare, biological, marketing, communications)
  • 5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least one customer-facing role
  • Shown success in developing and implementing omnichannel and/or content strategies that drive HCP engagement to achieve business goals.
  • Subject matter expertise in the landscape of digital channels, platforms, and/or tools that are applied for HCP engagement
  • Outstanding communication and social skills.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally and leading collaborative efforts within a matrix environment
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Emotional intelligence for the modern HCP navigating the volume and complexity of information in oncology

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in the biomedical field (Ph.D., PharmD., MD, DNP, DO)
  • Experience in clinical oncology
  • Experience in digital marketing methodologies and ability to forecast new trends
  • Understanding of regulatory considerations related to digital marketing in the pharmaceutical industry
