What you will do:

  • Manage operations related to the production of cell therapy products, ensuring adherence to the current Code of the Federal Regulations (CFR’s) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s). 

  • Manage production operations with an emphasis on quality, safety, and delivery of cell therapies to supply plan. 

  • Investigate and resolve problems, identify and implement process improvements, and manage the training and development of personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS/BA degree required in biological sciences, engineering, or biotechnology/life sciences 

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in clinical or commercial biologics or cell therapy manufacturing under cGMP.

  • Knowledgeable of the current Code of the Federal Regulations (CFR’s) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s)

  • Sufficient understanding of processes, systems, and equipment to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions to senior management

  • Expert knowledge of electronic quality systems

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

  • Good communication skills, effective collaborator, etc]

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in autologous cell therapy manufacturing

  • Minimum 5 years prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
