ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Reporting and Analytics Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the reporting and analytics infrastructure within Alexion. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analytics & reporting developers, and IT teams to ensure that reporting tools and systems are optimized for performance, reliability, and usability. Your role will involve configuring, administering, and troubleshooting reporting platforms and ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, proficiency in analytics tools and platforms, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of analytics platforms and applications, particularly Qlik Sense, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.

  • Manage and enforce security measures for dashboards, to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations (i.e. manage app-level and sheet-level access).

  • Collaborate closely with IT teams to oversee the implementation of upgrades/system enhancements, change requests, patches, and bug fixes for analytics applications, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing and resolving bugs related to platform (system availability, monitoring and addressing Qlik / NPrinting Task failures, disk space monitoring, etc.) prioritizing, and resolving issues promptly to minimize disruptions in analytics workflows.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of analytics applications to identify areas for improvement in functionality, performance, and user experience.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and best practices for users and stakeholders, facilitating efficient usage and troubleshooting of analytics applications.

  • Coordinate the release management process for QlikSense applications, ensuring seamless deployment of updates,

Essential Skills and experience

  • Technical Skills

    • Advanced understanding/experience with Qlik, SQL, Snowflake, and Veeva CRM.

    • Ability to create new rules and adjust complex existing rules.

  • Expertise in Qlik scripting language + data modelling concepts, including related skills in:

    • Data visualization (inclusive of Vizlib extensions)

    • Section access (security)

    • NPrinting

  • BI tools – QlikSense (must have), Power BI, Tableau

Desirable Skills and experience

  • Background in computer science, information systems, finance, or related field.
