Introduction to Role:

Are you ready to take on a leadership role in Oncology Statistical Programming? As the Statistical Programming Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing operational activities across Oncology Biometrics. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. If you have a proven track record in managing operational activities and facilitating successful delivery across Oncology Biometrics, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Accountabilities:

  • In this role, you will manage a team of contract workers and vendor suppliers, ensuring a productive and collaborative environment.

  • You will be responsible for recruitment, performance management, training compliance, and resource utilization.

  • You will also provide input into the strategy for the programming function based on strong operational knowledge.

  • Additionally, you will supervise operational financial figures and provide an operational dashboard including drug project updates, cost projection, and resource levels.

  • Your role will also involve contributing to portfolio level Biometrics capacity management and maintaining budgetary constraints through long-range planning processes.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Degree in Mathematical (i.e., Applied Math, Engineering, etc), Statistical, Computer Science, Life Science, or equivalent.

  • Authority planning and interpersonal skills

  • Proven programming leadership experience

  • Detailed knowledge of the clinical development process

  • Demonstrated leadership capability and proven track record to lead teams towards a common goal

  • Strong ability to influence relevant stakeholders and global teams

  • Ability to provide input to functional strategies

  • Ability to handle risk in complicated or novel situations

  • Department mindset

  • Functional strategist.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing business processes

  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Broad experience across therapeutic areas and outside of the field of Programming
