The Senior Training Specialist performs and leads tasks related to the administration of quality compliance & other training activities with minimal oversight.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Complete required training.
  • Ensure proper documentation practices during job activities.
  • Create training modules and/or resources to ensure that SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are covered.
  • Collect, record, and report metrics.
  • Create training files and electronic quizzes.
  • Serve as SME (subject matter expert) for LMS (Learning Management System).

Other Duties:

  • Monitor training of employees to ensure compliance.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss progress, initiatives, and/or other matters.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Evaluate new software and/or tools.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for others.
  • Participate in AZ regional and/or global network teams for standards developments and improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

4-year degree in a technical discipline and 7-10 years experience in training & development within a regulated or cGMP environment.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience developing and delivering training content leveraging adult learning techniques.
