Senior/Principal Statistical Programming Analyst

The Quantitative Clinical Pharmacology (QCP) SAS programmer sits in the QCP Data Science and Operations team and is responsible for the programming support for analysis-ready datasets, graphical displays and tabular outputs. These datasets will be used for pharmacometric analyses to support business decision and regulatory interactions. The analysis-ready datasets combine dosing, concentration, pharmacodynamic, efficacy, safety and other patient-related data from clinical studies and/or external data sources.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include dataset specification support, dataset programming, graphical and tabular data evaluation, QC, regulatory submission support, report generations and basic analyses if applicable.

The SAS Programmer may support internal/external presentations, reporting of data as well as additional sections of pharmacometric analysis summaries as applicable. 

The SAS Programmer may assist or sometimes lead the development of standardization and process optimization for delivery of analysis-ready data. 

The SAS Programmer may also contribute to departmental initiatives such as infrastructure development, imaging and other large database access, real world data access, software/tool development and other efforts. 

All of the above will be accomplished by working in close collaboration with QCP scientists, clinical programming teams, data management teams, quality control teams, regulatory, and study teams.

Essential Requirements:

Strong SAS programming skills

Bachelor’s degree MS preferred with relevant experience required

Desirable Background:

Understanding of clinical trials, clinical data and Pharmacokinetic (PK) data across early and late phase trials to support of PKPD analyses.

Demonstrated data programming and clinical development expertise exemplified by 4+ experience.

Understanding of pharmacometric data standards as well as CDISC/SDTM/ADaM data standards
