Sales and Marketing ManagerIn CV (f/m)

Objective of the position

Deliver strong marketing strategy for current and future CV portfolio and financial franchise targets. Lead and develop a group of Sales People. Drive/implement strong KaM mindset and ensure KaM execution.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Brand Planning & Positioning

  • One4All marketing implementation
  • Delivery of annual strategic brand plan + detailed tactical /activity plan
  • Financial planning and forecasting (including long-term forecasts)
  • Gain customer insights and develop impactful campaigns and projects based on customer needs and market environment
  • Determine promotional marketing & channel mix
  • Seek new promotional and channel opportunities (innovation), like e.g. digital approaches

Operational Plan Delivery and channel contents

  • Tracking & monitoring of marketing & sales strategy
  • Sharing best practice across region, brands and local teams and liaise with other markets regarding new campaigns
  • Use of ATLAS for local adaption in a cost-effective way.
  • Manage and coordinate all promotion and communication to customers
  • Manage promotional budget & develop business cases for new opportunities  & return on investments

Customer Mobilisation

  • Ensure execution of operational plan and brand objectives
  • Regular contact with Field force and Costumers
  • KEE development & engagement plan to build a pool of strong brand advocates
  • Run Sales team meeting/reviews and actively take part in brand team meetings to ensure cross-functional working

Performance Management & People

  • Seek opportunities to promote Brand activities internally and externally
  • Coach new team members of the cross functional team on the key aspects of the brand strategy
  • Lead sales team to meet /achieve established sales targets and deliver operational business goals.
  • Develop individuals to high performance skills
  • Develop and run sales trainings (e.g. together with other BUs)
  • Coach team and individuals on an ongoing basis (double field visits)
  • Proactively anticipate and address obstacles that may have a negative impact on performance of individuals or within region

Territory Management

  • Accountable for execution and delivery of high quality key account plans, territory action plans, calls plans.
  • Work with individual Sales people to establish appropriate and challenging goals for each account.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and regional team meetings to give direction and follow up best practices.
  • Provide regular and detailed feedback to Sales people at individual customer level based on account plan.
  • Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with HCP, especially distribution of samples etc

KPI´s

  • Sales & Marketing KPIs
  • Coaching time (>40%)
  • Ensure days in field (190-195) as well as calls per day for your Sales People

Essential Requirements

  • Advanced Natural Science or/and Business Education (or at least 5 years experience in product management)
  • Ideally exam for medical representative
  • Product Knowledge AstraZeneca (science focus) and Competitors product knowledge
  • Excellent understanding of Austrian pharma market
  • High knowledge & experience in marketing and sales
  • Understanding and usage of digital opportunities & new media
  • Strong skills: eg financial planning and forecasting
  • Strategic thinking
  • Scientific knowledge in reading publications, interpreting data and transferring it to commercial impact
  • Cross functional working
  • Strategic influencing and networking
  • Inspiring presentation skills
  • Campaign- and project management
  • Innovative way of thinking
  • Target oriented personality
  • Passion for customers
  • High communication & collaboration skills
  • Business level English and German
  • Driving license B

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in CVRM
