Change Lead -Operations

Are you a Change Management professional who is looking for an exciting opportunity? This position is offered on a 12-15 month fixed term contract as a maternity cover. If you are available to start at short notice, once satisfactory screening has been completed, this would be beneficial.

We're recruiting for a Change Lead to ensure we effectively plan and deliver the people aspects of business change within UK Operations. Reporting into the Lead Human Resources Business Partner, you'll work alongside programme teams supporting major business change programmes across the Manufacturing site at Macclesfield.

Main Responsibilities:

An authority in managing change impacting people, you will use the AstraZeneca change management framework (based on Kotter’s change management approach) to coach and guide teams involved in major programmes in developing, delivering and embedding successful change.

You will lead the change management aspects to support packing/supply chain change and be accountable for change management activities associated with this major programme for people, process and organisation impacted by the change.

You'll be the focal point and lead for the Change Management/Organisation Development workstream of the programme.

You will collaborate with communications to ensure that communications and change messages are aligned.

You will build a positive relationship with the Programme Manager and functional experts and operate actively as part of the Programme Team.

You'll be used to working independently to drive, develop and deliver tactical change activities within the overall change and Programme plan. You will demonstrate resilience to ensure change activities are included within programme plans.

Through guiding teams to translate technical content into simple, high impact change activities, you'll ensure that the content meets the needs of multiple partners and audiences. In addition you will develop communication activities for the site to actively engage the impacted and wider population to ensure successful change.

The Programme Leader and the site HR Lead will provide mentoring and guidance for you. An engaging communicator, networking will be vital to keep up-to date on external developments and innovations in change management.

Essential Requirements:

  • Validated change leadership skills with proven evidence of delivering significant business change within large programmes, impacting multiple groups within a single location.
  • Confidence and familiarity of working within a change management framework.
  • Strong ability to deliver practical change management activities which support the delivery of the programme.
  • Experience of working within a highly regulated compliance environment.
  • Evidence of working in an operations or supply chain environment.
