Job Responsibilities :

  • RWE study feasibility, setup, initiation and implementation/roll out: Owner of the process, including CRO selection, protocol finalization (with input from different stakeholders), HA/EC submission coordination, timely study initation and roll out
  • Project management: Set up and coordinate (inter) national RWE study, manage budget and ensure periodic reports. Close project-driven contacts with the Healthcare Databases owners in Belgium
  • Commercial / Marketing / Market Access: Identifying market needs and (contributing to) exploitation of the clinical and / or database study from a market access (reimbursement) as well as commercial point of view
  • Quality and safety: ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, SOPs and GCP, as well as checking compliance with GCP lead for primary & secondary data collection for observational studies in Belgium
  • Management information: collecting and analyzing data regarding RWE study(ies)
  • Communication of study results at relevant congresses / publication in relevant journals 
  • Relationship management: Develop and maintain relationships externally with - among others – Healthcare Databases owners, and internally with - among others- Evidence Network, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing and Sales departments
  • Setting up an inventory of available data sources in Belgium and updating it regularly

Education, Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • University degree in Biomedical sciences
  • 3-5 years of work experience in clinical research
  • > 3 years of experience as a project leader
  • Knowledge of the Belgian health system and different available health databases
  • Experience in leading international projects
  • Financial knowledge to setup and manage (inter) national study budgets
  • Excellent knowledge of GCP
  • Excellent command of the English language as well as one of the national Belgian languages (Dutch and/or French)
