Corporate Affairs Lead

Corporate Affairs Lead will be responsible for strategies formulating and executing driving of corporate affairs, developing private/public partnerships and leading selected corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, and leading internal and external communication campaigns to support the Company’s priorities.

This role will report directly to the Country President of AstraZeneca, Thailand and Frontier Markets. They will work frequently with CA teams and experts at the regional and global levels. to ensure effective collaboration and success.

Typical Accountabilities

  • Set and implement Corporate Affairs (CA) Strategy,
  • Champion and coordinate the creation and advancement of strong relationships and partnerships with relevant partners such as policymakers/advisors, policy advocacy groups, clinical authorities, and professional societies.
  • Lead continued interactions with public institutes.
  • Coordinate the implementation of CA’s community investment and sustainability programs in partnership with the Government and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor existing and future legislative activity impacting AstraZeneca’s operations.
  • Planning for and execution of omnichannel communications activities to increase corporate brand awareness,
  • Prepare content for selected media interviews, senior leadership talks, presentations, and engagements.
  • Support to develop corporate internal communication strategy and tactics in aligned with overall business objective and communication strategy.
  • Initiate internal communication projects with solid action plan based on the strategy and tactics.
  • Lead the team to well implement Corp. internal communication projects in aligned with the plan, including townhall meetings, annual conference, corporate internal communication campaigns at central and regional level.
  • Design and implement employer branding program and Executive communication.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Degree in policy-oriented majors, including public policy, public health, laws, economics, social welfares, international relations, journalism etc
  • At least 7 years of experience in Public/ External Relations, handling policy contents within a regulated environment.
  • Passion for healthcare and sustainable development
  • Practical experiences in internal/external communications.
  • Excellent English and Thai writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to quickly adapt to new IT tools.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively manage projects within tight timelines and work under pressure when needed.
  • Good teamwork skills and demonstrated ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders from divergent functions.
